  A small diamond side stone (chip diamonds) in my engagement ring fell out.

I found out some quotes at local places to get it replaced, and it was quite a pretty penny. Thanks to yelpers, I found Barry Evans Russ and not only was my bank account grateful for his help, but he cleaned the rings, resized both rings in the set, replaced the missing stone and two others that were loose (we wanted him to check that as well, just in case any more were on the way to go missing). He is quite busy and you have to make an appointment, but he does such good quality work and you get the sense you are handing your jewelry over to a true artist who has devoted his life to this craft.

I could only imagine what a custom piece by him is like!

  If I could give 6 stars, I would. I went to Barry with my engagement ring that had a few loose stones. He was prompt with his replies to my email to set up a time to meet with him and was very accommodating. He's the type of person that gives off the genuine, honest, feel good vibe. He gave me an extremely reasonable quote and when I went to pick it up he had tightened a few extra prongs and cleaned it! It's always nice to go go a jeweler this day in age and not feel like you're being ripped off.

Barry Russ, restoring my faith in humanity!

  I was looking for a custom jeweler to make a ring. I stumbled upon Barry's website and decided to give him a call. I met him at his shop in Buckhead and we discussed what I wanted. Fast forward a week and a half, and I have the most perfect ring on my right hand - designed and fabricated by Barry. His pricing estimate was spot on and it was ready exactly when he said it would be.

Barry does excellent work and is just a really cool dude (he also has fantastic taste in music). You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers...anytime I need jewelry made or repaired, I'm going to him.

  I was in dire need of having my necklace fixed. I was traveling into Buckhead from out of town for a wedding and needed a last minute repair of my favorite piece. Barry welcomed us in with some true southern hospitality. Even though he said he works by appointment only, he didn't turn us away from his door. He fixed my necklace in less than 20 minutes by fully replacing the clasp with a new one and it looks great. We had great conversation as he was working, Barry is a true music fan and a stand up gentleman!! Highly recommend visiting his shop/website!

  Barry is a wonderfully helpful jeweler! I brought him a very thin chain necklace that broke and he was able to fix it for me and at a reasonable rate. I highly recommending supporting him and his small business!

  Only amazing things to say about Barry Evan!!! He is knowledgeable, honest, and amazing at his craft. I love supporting businesses like his. Found him through Yelp and he did not disappoint. My engagement ring had a loose diamond that I needed to get fixed. I contacted him online and got a response fairly quickly, followed by a personal phone call to explain exactly where he was located. Not only did he repair my ring quickly and perfectly, but he also cleaned it for me and I feel like I have a brand new engagement ring!! If you need anyone for repairs, or even custom jewelry, he is your guy. The sweetest, kindest soul. Highly recommend.

  My Fiancée recently needed her ring resized with a same day turnaround and despite being turned down, rather rudely, by other well known Atlanta Jewelers; Barry accommodated us with open arms and couldn't have been more thorough and friendly. The entire transaction was perfect and Barry, unlike the other jewelers, now has our business for the foreseeable future.

  Not many jewelers work with the metal palladium (platinum's lighter weight, naturally occurring cousin), so when I found out Barry had a long history with the metal, I was delighted to meet him.

First, Barry resized a 1940s palladium engagement ring I bought from an estate jeweler online for my fiance. He was so nice and inexpensive, we asked Barry to design a new palladium wedding band to match that ring and HE NAILED IT!!

Barry's ability to design rings that look like actual vintage rings is what sets him apart from the rest. He is a student of jewelry and there is no faking the funk with him. But what makes me love Barry is his honesty. He did not try to up-sell us on anything crazy and gave us great bang for the buck.

I'm so happy we met Barry. He is a true artist and honest businessman who works with one of the greatest metals on Earth, palladium. I can't sing his praises enough. Thank you Barry!!

  Barry is great, very quick and thorough, can repair anything from diamond rings to costume jewelry! Highly recommend!
